Biography[]
Shayne American was a native of the planet Republic. She was selected for the Odyssey Project and received training at the Odyssey Project Training Center.
She served as a bridge officer on the Pathfinder Ship Pegasus, and worked on resolving glitches in the ship's Artificial Intelligence systems prior to launch. (Book One: Meridian)
American was part of the initial landing team to make contact with the inhabitants of Bodicea. (Book Three: Bodicea)
In orbit over the planet Aurora, she helped TyroCommander Redfire prevent the Global Thermonucleonic War initiated by the MAARRS and Supah Al-Fareek Consortia. (Book Five: Aurora)
She left Pegasus at the completion of the mission to the 12 255 Crux system and took a post on the Pathfinder Ship Lexington Keeler. (Book Six: Crucible)
